The Ezer Foundation Performing Arts, (EFPA) is an off-shoot of the many programs of the Ezer Foundation, Inc., and the founder's vision and desire to build lives which should be started while a person is still young just like what David said in Proverbs 22:6 “Train up a child in the way he should go; and when he is old, he will not depart from it.” As arrows are in the hand of a mighty man; so are children of the youth. (Psalm 127: 4) Now, it has become instrumental in reaching more lives and developing them to become responsible and fruitful citizens.
Music is said to be the language of the soul. The very Word of God backs it up when the Epistles provide, thus: “Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord;” (Eph 5:19) “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.” (Col 3:16)
Starting with the students of the Lighthouse Baptist Academy of Iriga City, through one who was taught, EFPA has grown not only in the level of performance but also in number. While more and more are being taught and trained, more and more also are privileged to be trained through each of the members. It has expanded services accommodating students even from the other parts of the region and still looking forward to branch out throughout, at least, the Philippines.
EFPA have their continuous training while they are being exposed through regular performances every Sunday, serenades in different occasions, i.e. birthdays, anniversaries, etc., and concerts at different places.
